The sponsorship of Fundação Millennium BCP enabled the conservation and restoration work, in progress and in site, which will cover the vehicles of the Museum’s collection.
The program will take six months and is coordinated by the Department of Conservation and Collections of the MNC with the scientific support of the Laboratorio José de Figueiredo.
The actions are focused in the textile, metal, leather, wood, oil paintings and gilding and the visitors are able to watch the work in progress in the gallery.
The actions started with the coach of Filipe II (movie), the oldest vehicle of the collection, and the Lab is already set in the south Gallery.
